just press teh button?

Yeah i might post an instructable on how to do it using NirSoft Freeware if i get time in the forthcoming week.

now how you close it ?

just in case : in linux its eject /dev/cdrom to open and eject -t /dev/cdrom to close. you may have to change cdrom to cdrw dvdrw cdroms/cdrom0 etc depending on the specific computer

check out these sites:
Nir cmd
hotkey

and heres one for a shortcut:

nircmd.exe cmdshortcut "~$folder.desktop$" "Open CDROM" cdrom open k:
just replace K: with your cd drive letter

Google Nircmd

NIRCMD!!!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE IT!!!!

One person gave this answer:

There is no such MS-DOS external command to eject CD-ROM drives, except those packaged with CD-ROM drivers. They aren't official MS-DOS commands, though, simply programs supplied by hardware vendors, or written by bored people.

Here's one such utility to eject a CDROM drive from DOS: http://www.ou.edu/pub/simtelnet/msdos/cdrom/fxeject.zip

ive already searched google and i came up with nothing. and it can still open manually, i just want to know how to do this for fun.

Try searching this site, there's an iBle on it, but not as a Batch script.

if you mean it wont open manually, there is a small hole in the front for such emergencys. otherwise, no clue

I used to know how to do that. I will post here again if i remember
