if my helicopter is 27mhz and my remote is 27mhz will it work Answered

i have a hawkspy 711 helicopter withe no remote ,ive now have a gyro transmitter 3 channel radio control both 27mhz both charged.not working

In general the transmitter and possibly the receiver will be frequency controlled by a crystal. They need to be a matched pair. NOTE NOT the same though - They will differ by the IF frequency (look it up)

If they are cheap Tx and RX then they may not have a crystal and may be adjustable.

Check the makers web site, check on line with the name of the TX & RX to see if anyone has done a similiar thing.

1. There are many different chanels in the 27MHz range.
2. Only the matching receiver will understand command from the remote.

If is like you say "I have a UHF radio but noone can hear me" ;)

Yea you may need to fine tune ether the transmitter or the receiver it may say 27 mhz but it is just the frequency range not an exact frequency.

Then the chip may have its own commands.

It can be done.
