You might want to specify what voltage and current draw you need. You looking for a PC power supply or a microwave oven thingy?

the instructable I am looking for a transformer for didn't really say. I know it is one that is supposed to come out of a disposable camera. The i'ble is "The world's smallest shocker" by Plasmana. If you could look at that one real quick, then get back to me I would greatly appreciate it. Sorry for being ignorant, but I'm kind of new to instructables.

. On any web site, not just Instructables, you will get a better response if you will provide a clickable link. Like this: Oops! As it turns out, there are two "World's Smallest Shocker" iBles by Plasmana. Which one do you mean? Oh well. The first one has a link to the newest.

yes that is it, I tried to build it, but after two transistors dying from heat on me :( I finally got it right, only to find that I had either burned out the transformer I was using, or it had been broken to begin with. (I wasn't using the camera transformer, because I had a bigger one around, and the pins of the one for the camera broke off.) Guess I shouldn't have been in such a rush and should have tested the transformer first huh? Oh well, live and learn.

If you care to read through the 1299 comments, you would probably get an idea of where to find one or figure out how to substitute a different transformer. The latest comments seem to point that the 5 pin are no longer available or harder to find.

Saw the comments below I have a fair few disposable cameras right now, I'll check the instructable and see if I have any later on as I've gotta go to a gig.
