You can find 25-30watt irons that are suitable for general electronics soldering. You can get a temperature controlled one for a little more money but it will come with a soldering station stand which includes the holder, a weighted base and a wet-sponge tip cleaner that is handy. The pencil shaped types are the ones to get and not a soldering gun/pistol that is for big soldering like jewelry or stained-glass lead. Get a small-medium pointy tip. Make sure you get your other tools too, third-hand for holding small stuff - you can make it too, wire clippers, small piers, wire insulation strippers, and a solder-sucker pump-type spring loaded for desoldering. Good luck.
