Lol Sturmgewher or whatever it is is what the Germans use for assault rifles. It also translates as storm rifle in english. So storm= assault basically. Storm 220 V1.7 was the first.

It was Jamalam Ha! toast!

Storm was just a cool name the jamalam used for his guns. There is nothing so special about it just because it is named storm. There is not really something like a storm series; it is just a name (even though most of them look like each other, but that could be just because the jamalam made them). I listed all the official guns of the storm series here from first to latest:

https://www.instructables.com/id/The-storm-220-V1.7-knex-bolt-action-rifle./ The first one, pretty much a standard gun, with balanced pros and cons.
https://www.instructables.com/id/The-storm-221-V14-Knex-sniper-rifle/ The second one, the description says it is a sniper but it is about just the same as the first one.
https://www.instructables.com/id/The-storm-222-V11-knex-semi-auto-rifle/The third one, A pseudo semi auto rifle, which means it has a chain and is modified to fire rouds one at a time.
https://www.instructables.com/id/The_Storm_223_V13_knex_gun/ Fourth one, fancy looks and a grenade launcher makes it better then the first.
https://www.instructables.com/id/The_Storm_22_KNEX_pistol/ Officially not a Storm rifle, since it was a sidearm. I'll list it here anyways.
https://www.instructables.com/id/The_Storm_220_V21_Battle_rifle/ Just at the moment that the name "storm" was never coming back, this great new addition to the storm series came. Better looks and range then the others.
https://www.instructables.com/id/Storm-221-V24-Battle-Sniper/ The latest in the series and arguebly the best. Designed for real games with knex and very good in that. Slightly based on the 220 V2.

Dunno, just an idea Jamalam had.
