what zune? Answered

What zune should I get? Zune 16 or Zune 120? Or should I even get a Zune? Please tell me! Half of me says get the zune 16 because it is smaller and more portable and I think it might come in different colors. But the other half says if I get a Zune, might as well get the 120 gig. Please help.

Zune 16 is the Zune HD. it supports 720p HD video output with the HD dock, HD radio, apps from Zune marketplace, internet browsing, and it has a capacitive OLED touch screen. the Zune 120, on the other hand, is just a regular Zune with the "Zunepad" (a touch sensitive directional pad) with the regular firmware that does not support HD video output (although it does do regular video output) nor has an internet browser. it really depends on what youre using it for. if just for music, get the 120, if you plan on loading homebrew apps, HD. *after looking a bit* sorry, i just realized this was published before the HD.

"HD Radio is the trademark for iBiquity's in-band on-channel (IBOC) digital radio technology used by AM and FM radio stations to transmit audio and data via a digital signal in conjunction with their analog signals." en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HD_Radio Well there are a lot of factors that play into that too. could be where you listen. What you are using to pick up the signal. Even extends the solar weather. (i.e. solar flares) affects all over air transmissions. I am assuming that you are using an iPod to get the standard radio, correct? And you are using a dedicated system to get the "HD" radio. Because the iPod, or something similar, is not a dedicated system, its like comparing apples to lemons. And i am sorry that I did get some of my info from Wikipedia. If you need some actual research, goto howstuffworks.com, and search for it. They even have a podcast for this topic by tech stuff, called something like this: What the heck is HD radio? They go into A LOT of detail about how it works. I don't mean to be rude but... Over text you cannot express emotion. I am not trying to be condescending or anything. Hope I helped

The smaller one comes in a few colours, my friend likes his, also I still don't see the point in giant storage for music, put a few days worth on and it'll keep you good until you get back to the computer... So maybe that nugget helps, think how often you charge it and the time it takes, that could also be time to use any synch program to throw on a shuffle of songs for the next day...
