    Most things will explode if 150V is applied: LEDs, ICs, people, etc.

    Yes, but that depends upon which kind of transistor you try it on. If you do it with a poor little 2N3904, then boom! But good luck trying to get a big sucker from a power inverter to explode. While I don't doubt that you would easily be able to kill it with some overvoltage, try to make it EXPLODE.     ... i don't know if its 2kj but i got a box of microwave caps... most of them are popcan sized, exept for one... its about the size of a football, i'm terrified of it.

    that is an epic capacitor bank im just using an average 120v from a wall outlet
