Tv Back Light

Tricolor color led strip stuck on back of TV with double sided tape. Controlled by Arduino Uno.

Supplies Needed:

1 - Tri-Color LED strip from Radio Shack.

1- Arduino Uno.

1 - 1 amp or higher DC power supply.

1 - roll double sided tape.

1 - computer with Arduino IDE sketch program on it.

1 - USB A to USB B cord to program Arduino.

Step 1: Arduino Uno

Here is a Arduino Uno, on the right.

Any Arduino will do. Uno, Mega ,ect.

You will also need a USB A to USB B data transfer cable, to upload your sketch.

Step 2: Led on Back Tv

I added led strip to back edge of tv with double sided tape.

The tricolor LED strip I purchased from Radio Shack.

Step 3: You Also Need 12 Watt Power Supply

Power supply must be close to 1 amp or higher if you want to add more strips.

I just had one lying around.

Step 4: Program Arduino

Program Arduino using IDE sketch program that came with your Arduino.

Test sketch can be downloaded from shack.net/LED0339

I added some effects to my sketch.

Step 5: Finished
