Introduction: Wall Following Virobot
In this Intstuctable I’m going to show you how to make a very simple virobot that follows the wall. This project is super easy to build. This robot like any virobot uses one motor to vibrate the stand or in this case the Styrofoam moving the whole robot, The robot we will be making can follow the wall or go around objects(as long as it isnt on carpet) . This project is free if you have taken apart enough toys and saved the parts.
Step 1: Materials
What you need for the project is:
Motor with a weight (the motor in the picture is not the motor I used)
swich
wires
tape
batterys
Styrofoam
all this stuff was from taken apart toys.
but if you are rich and want to spend the money you can get this stuff at a hobby store.

Step 2: Adding the Battery and the Motor on the Body
this step is easy just put tape on the sides of the battery and motor.
Step 3: Wiring
this step sounds easy enough to do without explanation but just in case I made a pictue of what it should look like. but I should mention that you can change the way the DC motor is rotating by changing the wires around.
Step 4: Finished!
Slap a nice piece of paper on the back and your done. you can also tape a marker on the back to have it draw. Have fun with it!
