this is a simple project to keep your matches and other things safe from water.
STEP 1: Step 1
get bud light tin bottleand keep lid.
STEP 2: Step 2
sand off the paint if you want to, recommended if you are putting the bottle in your car...cops.
STEP 3: Step 3
put matches and other things in the top.

To make paint removal easier, fill the bottle to within 1 1/2'' of the top with water, put on lid, freeze overnight. Works with any metal bottle you can reseal -- coconut water, beer, soda, etc.

Id like to do this with a monster can sometime, it has a larger mouth I think. These would make a great Geocache container, thanks for sharing!

it's not all hard, although I recommend sanding an unopened bottle to prevent accidentally denting the bottle. I used 1000 grit finishing sand paper, since I'm not over fond of the brushed finish. To insure a good seal (the cap becomes a bit unreliable after awhile) I brushed a little latex around the threads. This really is an awesome stupidly simple project

try using the coors aluminum bottle they have a mouth twice as wide. so u could also fit lighters or whatever

This is a great idea, it looks great! How hard was it to get the paint sanded off?
