Intro: Webbed Fingers

it a fairly simple way to give yourself webbed hands for those days your just feel fishy

things you will need
 liquid latex ( i use brand X)
card stock
Q-tip

trace hand on card stock , if it helps make little tabs to help hold the card in place. cut them out and place in between your finger.  the latex really just cover it on there , you are going to have to go over your hand a few times let it dry and go over it again ( try not to let it touch itself it will stick and then your going to have to start over, when it is a little dry but some baby powder or makeup sealer on it this will help so it wont stick to itself .once done you can paint over it with face/body paints .the paints with oil in them gives a better look, the water based ones dry better .

i made mine out of all liquid laytex by making cardboard fingerwebs and pushing them into plado and filling it with about 2 millemeters thick of liquid laytex (like four layers) then atached them to my hand, it was wateproof and moved quite welll with my hands
use glue for water proof
Now if you could get them water proof and made for feet :]
awesome now please make them waterproof
haha those would be awesome for freestyle and butterfly!
this is reminding me so much of the book "The Roar"
i know right!?
i cant wait for the sequel this fall
i had done some work on liquid latex before,,,
you can try curing the latex once applied with diluted acetic acid or vinegar..(spraying works best, i used an old windex bottle)
the latex hardens and will become waterproof and wont tear that easily..
you could infact remove your webbed glove like a glove..
id also suggest adding another layer of latex on to the cured glove to strengthen it.
nice work.. brings back memories
To make webbed fingers you use while swimming, get the wide industrial velcro. Wear a pair of gloves (latex or rubber kitchen gloves. Spread your fingers and attach the velcro in strips across your fingers top and bottom, so the velcro meshes/engages between fingers. This makes a very easy webbed effect and is instantly removable.
This is awesome. Do they make you swim faster?
i wish, no once they get wet the lose their power and fall apart
have you tried adding a few more layers of latex and brushing latex out from the webs down to the wrist?
try plastic dip avalible at hardware stores (may be toxic)to make this water proof.
