Introduction: Wooden Replacement Part for Refrigerator

One of the three inside hatches on my refrigerator had a tendency to brake. I fixed the plastic part several times but it hasn’t been that sturdy to start with and became even more fragile every time I glued or welded the plastic together. So I created this wooden replacement part in order to solve the problem.

I placed the plastic part on top of the wooden board and then traced the key points, like the connection to frame on to the wooden board.

I cutout the shape and drilled holes for the wooden cylinders that later on fit in to the frame.

It took me about 10 minutes to do all of this and then I had to wait about 3 hours for the ecological and non-poisoners lack to dray.
The whole construction is fitting in nicely as you can see in the images and works sufficiently well.
