3d Printed Concrete Forms for Architectural Post Tensioned Concrete Sculptures

I am looking at the feasibility of 3D printing concrete forms to make a staircase that goes up a 4' retaining wall. The forms would be cylindrical, split in half, and during the pour would be supported using a wood support system. Ideally I would have one main highly curved support "column" (think more of a snake or spaghetti noodle) with then stairs that slide in via a mortise and tenon type connection. The stairs would be poured individually in a separate production process than the main support. I plan on using a combination of a wire mesh, rebar and tension cables for the concrete reinforcement. The tension cables would run the length of the main support beam and would be hydraulically tensioned just before the formwork was removed. I have ample concrete experience as a civil engineer and a construction manager but this idea seems like I need some outside input.Does anyone have any experience 3d printing concrete forms. What is the best material that will hold up to the moisture and high alkalinity of concrete?At this point I have no real conceptual drawings but I'm looking to see if any similar projects have been attempted and hopefully learn and improve on them!

Converting a .dwg into a .stl for 3D printing a house design (Converting to watertight mesh/ 3d volume)

Hey you guys,I am hoping to use the powers of a crowd to find a quick answer to my problem. I have the architectural Design (.dwg) of a given house (simple model for comparison attached). I need to convert this into a .stl file, preferrably using Fusion360 or Autocad. (newest Version)I understand that the type of the walls and roof is not a 3D volumetric type or a watertight mesh, so the question is how to get there. (Also: of what type of "structure" are these walls - I mean .. they are 3D?)I am an electronics engineer by training, so my CAD knowledge is rather restricted to PCB design. I would be pleased if you can help me out with this, so I can get back to those PCB's :)Thank you guys a lot!lusch

3D relief Keystone image of Violin and Microscope to place on building about 1 ft square

Would like to stick on side of a building these images for art and science.  Can someone make these in wood  or stone rather than casting them in cement?   Does this make sense?

Electricity over IP

This is not really a new concept (first published in 2002), but one to mull over :-) Electricity over IP (EoIP, pronounced "yoyp") is a proposed scheme for delivering electric power via IP (Internet protocol). EoIP was developed to eliminate the unnecessary redundancy inherent in maintaining separate distribution networks for electricity and the Internet. The technology could be especially beneficial in remote areas with Internet kiosks but without electricity.The architecture for delivering EoIP is known as MPLampS (Mostly Pointless Lamp Switching). Electricity is digitized and encapsulated in discrete packets. According to the IETF's marketing segment, "MPLampS has the potential to dramatically lower the price, ease the distribution and usage, and improve the manageability of delivering electricity." Electricity over IPThe IETF Network Working Group described EoIP in RFC 3251, published on April 1, 2002. April 1 is also sometimes known as "April Fools' Day."
