I'm half Greek. I've lived there all my life...until last year, when I moved to the U.S. And once in a while I would hear mention of a mysterious mathematical concept called pie. I'd never heard of it . (well, except for PIE pie, obviously..) I think I caught on when I saw the " mmmm.... π" t-shirts. News flash(in a totally NOT mean, superior way): π is not pronounced like pie; it is, in fact pronounced just like p. ........
Ok. Done complaining. Now I got that out of my system, I adore anything that links sweetness and math in any way, shape or form. Cookie Pascal's triangle? YES!!! π= pie=3/14? Awsome!!!

STEP 1: The Tart....
Now I'm done with all that, let's move on to the sweet. Yes, it's a tart. I am continuing on my lone, peaceful protest of mispronounciations, but believe me: this is yumminess. A crumbly, buttery shortbread crust with 3 scoops of sweeet, creamy coffee ice cream over 14 pieces of chocolate. (yay. 3/14!) eat it.
So, here's what you need:
1 cup of flour
1/4 cup sugar
1 stick of butter, melted
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
3 (fat) scoops of ice cream(flavor of your choice, but I used coffee)
14 pieces of chocolate(you could use chips, but I just cut chunks off a block)
Marzipan
So, here's what you need:

1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
3 (fat) scoops of ice cream(flavor of your choice, but I used coffee)
14 pieces of chocolate(you could use chips, but I just cut chunks off a block)
Marzipan
STEP 2: Make Yourself a Ï Tart
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees(Fahrenheit ) (180 in celicus)
Dip a paper towel in butter and use it to grease a 9-inch tart pan
Mix all the ingredients except the ice cream and chocolate
Press the dough into the tart pan.
Bake until it just barely starts to turn golden on the edges
While the crust is baking, use the marzipan to carefully shape a π sign with your fingertips
Pop it in the freezer and take out the ice cream to soften. Once the crust has completely cooled, take it out and scatter the bits of chocolate over it
Then plop the ice cream over the chocolate and use a plastic spatula to spread it out
And, finally place your pi sign on it
