Introduction: How to Make Turtle Bread 🐢

Step 1: Ingrediants!
For this recipe, you will need:
- 1 1/2 cups of flour
- 1 package of yeast
- 1 tablespoon of sugar
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 of water
- 1/3 milk
- 1 tablespoon of butter or margarine
- 1 egg
- 2 chocolate chips (or anything else that could be used as the turtle's eye)
Step 2: Mix Dry Ingrediants
Mix flour, yeast, sugar, and salt together.
Step 3: Mix Wet Ingrediants
Turn on stove to medium heat. Put saucepan on stove. Mix milk, water, and butter. Stir occasionally till butter is melted.
Step 4: Add in Egg
Whisk egg in separate bowl, then add into wet ingrediants.
Step 5: Stir in Dry Ingrediants
Add in the dry ingrediants, then stir until you get a batter. Knead the dough until it is smooth
Step 6: Make Turtles's Face
Make one two inch ball out of the dough. This will be the turtle's face
Step 7: Make Turtle's Feet and Tail
Make five one inch balls out of the dough. Use four as the turtle's feet and the other one as the turtle's tail.
Step 8: Make the Turtle's Body
Slightly flatten the turtle's body.
Step 9: Attach Body Parts to Body
Attach head, feet, and tail to turtle
Step 10: Let Bread Rise
Cover turtle and let it rise for 20 minutes.
Step 11: Add Turtle Marks
Add a 1/4 deep circular cut around the top edge of the body. Then add criss cross marks on the turtle.
Step 12: Preheat Oven
Preheat oven to 400 degrees fahrenheit.
Step 13: Cook Turtle
Put turtle in the oven for around 13 minutes.
Step 14: Your Done!
