Introduction: Angel Trumpet

I know I can't make a flower but, I did propagate it from a half of a leaf and have been babying it ever since. I have had to transplant it when we moved houses and I have been taking care of it since 2001 when I took a horticulture class and Rooted her. I, of course, picked this Angel Trumpet, which the teacher said is one of the hardest to propagate that I could choose :) The Blooms hang upside-down and are about 5 inches in long. The buds are shiny and even more so when they are still really green. They look like aliens...lol. I am very proud of all the work I put into this beautiful plant but I do know I didn't actually make it, because there is someone much more powerful that actually "Made" it. The Angel Trumpets bloom in the fall, so this photo was taken then. I am hoping that since she needs constant attention during the summer, mostly this year with this drought and she is doing wonderfully that she will qualify. If you need a picture of her now I will add one, if she can qualify butt she is just leaves right now, maybe some daddy long legs because they seem to love her too.....
