About: I am from Thessaloniki Greece! I love the world of electronics in every step of my life! I am electronic engineer and my hobby is my job!The summer of 2014 i'm raedy to begin my own company oramasolutions aft…

What i needed was a bluetooth speaker for my balkony.

So i collected the following parts:

  • 2 speakers from a broken tv (16Ω 5W) . I tried with varius speakers and these worked the best.
  • A heatsink from the cpu of the mainboard of the same tv for cooling the charger for the big 4000mah battery.
  • A protecting speaker cover from a broken radio player.
  • A switch from a broken desktop light.
  • A lithium battery from a broken tablet. (4000mah, 3.7vdc)
  • A charger for the lithium battery and a bluetooth module with integrated opamp. (these were resting in my bench from old projects)
  • A 3d printed case to mount all them in! I used some old petg fillament remainings. I was free the hole day so i hot swap varius colors (having direct drive setup is more than a pleasure).

Designed the case in 2 parts that they connect via 4 3mm bolts and threaded inserts.

I used a TP4056 lithium battery charger. I attached the cpu heatsing from the tv.

I used MH-M38 Bluetooth audio receiver with 2x5W amplifier builded in the module.

There is a base for the Bluetooth module. The usb port of the module will be on the face of the case for charging purposes. You can use this module as a desktop pc audio card also.

I removed the diode from the bluetooth module so to get 5v directly on the charging module.

Hot glued everything in place except the speakers that are mounted via M5 threaded inserts.
