Introduction: Bottle Rocket Launcher

About: Southern musician and tinkerer with too much time on his hands.

An absolute essential for bottle rocket wars. Made from PVC, cardboard, and a little duct tape, this launcher provides an accurate and safer way of shooting bottle rockets from your hand.

Step 1: Materials

For this awesome launcher, you will need:
9 length of PVC pipe
7 length of PVC pipe
2, 4 lengths of PVC pipe
3 length of PVC pipe
2, 2 lengths of PVC pipe (all the PVC being 1/2)
2 "T" connectors
2 "elbow" connectors
2 end caps
duct tape (for optional spark guard)
a knife (for optional spark guard)
a rather large square of cardboard about 10" X 10" (for optional spark guard)

Step 2: Assembly

Attach the 7" piece to an elbow
attach the other end of the elbow to a 2"
attach the other end of the 2" to a T connector as shown
attach the 9" piece to the middle of the T connector
attach a 4" piece to the last end of the T connector and cap it with an end cap
attach the other T connector to the 9" as shown
attach the other 4" to the middle of the T connector and cap it with an end cap
attach the 3" piece to the last end of the T connector
attach the last elbow to the 3"
attach the last 2" to the other end of the elbow

DONE!

Step 3: (Optional) Spark Guard

If your like me, every time I use this thing, the very hot sparks fly back and burn me. One night, I came up with this, and it turned out really well.

take your cardboard and put a hole in the center with your knife
push the 7" piece of PVC through the hole
secure it with duct tape

NOW FINALLY DONE!
ENJOY!
NOTE: use the uncapped 2" piece of PVC to hold extra bottle rockets (probably holds about 4)
