Introduction: DIY: "BOO" Jars

About: I'm a hippie flower child who loves Led Zeppelin, music in general (seriously though, I'll listen to anything! <3) nature, summertime, and thunderstorms. :)

Hey, y'all! :) I know this is sort of a basic DIY, but I wanted to post it anyway. I scoured the Internet for a tutorial on how to make these, but for some reason, could not find one! Weird! So I decided to fix it! :D Let's get started, shall we?

Step 1: The "BOO"-jie Ingredients ;)

For this DIY, you'll need:

-Jars

-Paint brushes

-Black and white paint

-Black and white glitter

-Mod Podge

-Tacky Glue

-Clear acrylic sealer

-"BOO" template

-Pencil

-Card stock

Step 2: Clean and "BOO"-jie!

Now, clean your jars and apply your Mod Podge. Sprinkle the glitter on and put any excess back in the container. Let it dry completely.

Step 3: If Ya Like It, Then Ya Shoulda Put a Lid on It! ;)

Haha.

Now grab your lids and paint them white. Make sure you're using multi-surface paint for this step. Regular acrylic paint will lift off. Multi-surface paint has a bucket, a bird house, and a glass on the lid. You can paint over multi-surface paint with any acrylic paint, though. :) Let them dry completely.

Step 4: Does This Lid Make Me Look Mysterious?

Now grab your black paint and paint your lids again. Let them dry completely. Mine took two coats.

Step 5: Mysterious AND Fa-BOO-Lous!

Now grab your glitter, lids, paint brush, and Mod Podge, and add your glitter. Let it dry and seal the glitter with your Mod Podge.

Step 6: "BOO"-tracin'

Now grab some tracing paper, your template, your pencil, some card stock, and scissors. Trace your letters and transfer them to your card stock. Add your glitter and let dry, then Mod Podge over it and let dry. Seal everything with your clear sealer and let dry.

Step 7: Enjoy! :D

Pop in your flameless candles and enjoy your candle holders! :D

As always, thank you for checking this DIY out. If you recreate it, I'd love to see! Just hit the 'I Made It!' button. :) Hope y'all have a safe, fun, and happy spooky season!
