DIY Glamorous Sexy Gloves

Getting ready for a New Year Ball... black, shimmering dress this year...

Accidentally, I come across some old, a little torn shimmering socks in my closet, and an idea emerges! GLOVES!

Step 1: Cut the Top of Your Old Pair of Socks

Make sure your socks are clean :) I used a pair of shimmering nylon socks to match my dress.

Simply cut off the top of your socks.

Step 2: Make Room for the Thumb

With needle and thread, make a few stitches for the thumb. Then, sew in a rubber loop for pulling your index or middle finger through it.

Step 3: The Simple Version Or...

You can leave them as simple as this... or...

Step 4: The Final Touch

...sew in a lacy border to give them an even more glamurous look.

Put on your ballroom dress and your freshly made gloves, and hit the dance floor! You can wear the gloves pulled up or you can fold them down to your wrist if it gets too hot.
