Step 3: Pros to Desoldering

There are some pros you can get from desoldering. What I like to do is go to a scrapyard and find some decent looking electronics that i am willing to tear apart. I usually desolder everything on the boards and store away my useful parts. I usually get a bin full of capacitors and resistors and now and then you get these specialty rare items you never know you can you in the future projects. ;)

Step 4: Cons to Desoldering

There are some cons to desoldering though. First of all it can take up a lot of time and stress desoldering each part of the board. even though your saving yourself a couple of dollars in the long run, you may just want to pitch in a few bucks online or at radioshack to buy the parts (which sometimes I do).

Step 5: End
