Introduction: Easy Superhero Photo Booth

Save the day and set up this easy photo booth for your next party!

Step 1: Find a Blue Sheet

The first, and most important, thing you will need is a blue sheet. Make sure it is big enough to fit the people and props on it you want to take pictures of. If you buy a new sheet, I recommend ironing it first to get the creases out. Lay the sheet out on the floor and you are ready for the next step.

Step 2: Gather Your Props

For our photo booth, I started with the buildings. Every superhero needs a city to protect! My friend was able to find some bulletin board paper with a cityscape on it at the preschool where she works and brought me a few feet. You can also get a roll HERE. I cut the city out and glued it to some foamboard and then cut the foamboard out around the city. You can also re-purpose some cardboard boxes by painting them to look like buildings.

I found these cardboard superhero word cutouts on Amazon HERE. You can easily paint up the "comic book look" words as well.

Another fun element to add is a cloud or two. You can paint cardboard clouds or just use some pillow stuffing.

Position your props on the sheet and your ready for the next step.

Step 3: Find Some Willing Participants

For me, this was the easiest part!

I did a test photo using my daughter and her puppy, Stella. You can use the photos to figure out where the props and people will go when you use the photo booth at your party. It's also great to test out the best poses. For us, having the subject lay on their sides and turn their head to the camera seemed to work best. Once you set up your photo booth, you are ready for the last step.

Step 4: Take the Photos!

Taking the photos is the best part! For my daughters birthday party, the photos were mailed to the kids after the party as Thank You cards. Just do a little editing on your computer and print them out!
