Extended Dioder Remote Cord

Step 1: Supplies

2 cat5 jacks
Cat5 cable at desired length
Dioder set for ikea

Step 2: Cut

Cut the plug end off of your dioder remote and strip off 1/4 inch of the exterior casing. Push the 5 wires into pins 1-5 of one of the cat 5 jacks. Do the same for the opposite end of the remote.

Step 3: Connect

Connect the two pieces together with your cat5 cable

Step 4: Rout Cable

Route the cat5 cable as you desire and keep it hidden.
