Unlike the conventional joule thief using 2n2222a transistor use to power up normal LED - this joule thief is powered by high current transistor TIP41C to provide more current output from 1.5 AA batteries. In this video demonstrate how a single AA battery can power up multiple LED sets that requires 8 Volt each light them up.
