Step 1: Tips on How to Mix and Demould the Holder From Casting

Mix the cement with water to make a good mix. Make sure you dont have any lumps. But still even if you have small lumps its fine. It will settle in the bottom

Now pour it in the mould I have mentioned in supplies list and tap the mould like how to tap the cake pan to release bubbles once dough is poured

Tapping the mould helps to release bubbles and that inturn makes the casted cement holder without any bubbles and will be smooth

Let it dry for 24 hours. Excess water will stay on top once it starts to dry. So always fill the mould till the top

After 24 hours demould the cement stone/holder from the mould and place it inside a tub filled with water. It has to be immersed into the water for atleast 5 days to maximum 7 days. This will strengthen the cement candle holder.

Once its taken out from water. Dry it under sun and check if there are dents or any unevenness. If yes then smooth it out by using Sand paper.

Use 2-3 coats of black acrylic paint to paint the cement holder.

Step 2: Marking Guidelines

Remove your candle from tealight and turn the pan upside down. Place it in the casted piece upside down. Based on the North east South west points draw horizontal and vertical lines. Then mark the remaining lines. PLace your compass on the tealight pan and draw random circles on the casted piece.

Now start to place three rows of tiny dots of various shades of orange.

Step 3: Creating First Row of Swooshes

Place coin and draw circles on the 8 lines drawn. Then using various shades of green draw swooshes. Check the video to watch on how to create these swooshes

Step 4: Creating Petal Shaped Pattern

Now using Vermillion color do the swoosh and place white color dot on top. Then around the white dot place 4 rows of petal shaped dots of gradient shades

Now draw an extended petal with your white water color pencil and then on either side draw blue color swooshes

On the extended line, draw 2 rows of orange color dots in the petal shape and enclose it with blue color swoosh.

Between the two petal pattern create circle pattern with 3 rows of orange color.

On the base of it do swooshes

Step 5: Designing the Base

On the base place 4 rows of orange dots and between the dots place tiny yellow dots and finish the design. Watch complete tutorial and share your thoughts on piece. Follow me here on instructable and on youtube for more creations
