I am making a bird house for the birds who needs protection against weather and preys they can make a nest in this wooden bird house, It is simple and easy to make even with the scrap woods scatter around to make somethings useful and decent which also increase the beauty of home or apartment balcony as well.

Supplies

MDF board for base 6"x10"

.Wood Pieces

6" = 6 pieces

9" = 2 pieces

10" = 1 pieces

4" = 4 pieces

.Thin wood pieces for roof

11" = 16 pieces

Hardboard

White Glue

Superglue

Nails

Paint

Step 1: Structure the Base

Hammer the nail on the 6" wood pieces as pillars on the base then place 6" pieces over them on two sides then rotate the structure on side way to place the 9" pieces and hammer the nails from the sides forming a rectangle box.

Step 2: Making a Roof

Take 10'' wood piece and place it over the 4'' inches wood pieces and hammer the nail from one side forming a C shape then place 4'' wood on the next side of 10'' wood pieces and hammer the nail on those as well forming an arch, Place a wooden piece on the side of arch shape and mark and cut all four pieces out in straight line.

Step 3: Placing the Roof

Make holes on all four sides of 4'' wood pieces and make the holes straight downward then Place the structure on the rectangle box and place the screws to fix the roof on the box.

Step 4: Cutting Out the Shape

Place the structure on the hardboard and mark the shape on hardboard and cut out all sides and roof pieces.

Place a wood piece on these cut out pieces and mark them with a screwdriver to make a pattern as wooden slab.

Step 5: Attaching the Pieces to Structure

Put the white glue on the sides and place the pieces on it is positions and hammer the nails on on all the sides.

Step 6: Roof Tiling

Start placing the 11'' thin wood pieces start from the down side to up side and secure them the superglue on both sides of roof, Make a 3'' holes on side of the house.

Step 7: Paint It

Now painting first it need a primer and then a 2 times coat of oil based paint.

Step 8: Making Door and Windows

Cut out 2''x4'' piece of wood and 2''x2.5'' pieces for windows mark them and emboss the door and window pattern and paint them white, Mark them with a black marker and paint the glass sides black, Put a white glue on there backs and place them on the house.
