ever wanted to create a zombie look, but tired of always going with white makeup and blackened eyes?
well, I got the solution for you!
this tutorial will help you achieve the decayed rotten zombie look without a lot of work

Step 1: Final Look

Step 2: Getting Started

first start off with applying a layer of thinned out mud mask to the entire face except for the eyes
this will create the decayed rotted flesh look

Step 3: The Process Begins

add another alyer of the thinned out mud mask
this will add another layer of decayed flesh to the face

Step 4: On Your Way

add some latex to parts of the face
this will allow you to tear holes on the face for a torn flesh look
before the latex dries add some tissue paper to the larger areas of the latex
this just allows easier tearing and to save for future use

Step 5: Beginning to Look Dead

as the latex and tissue paper dry, take some dark purple makeup and apply to the lips
this will make your lips look like they are rotten and have no more blood or life to them

Step 6: Eyes Look Dark

now take some green and blue makeup from the death stack ( purchased from cinemasecrets.com)
apply to the eye areas
this allows for a rotted, sunken look

Step 7: The Dead Is Arriving

beginning tearing at the latex and create holes in the latex
with a brush apply some black makeup to the inside of the holes
this creates a dead flesh look inside of the holes
apply some yellow makeup from the death stack around the latex
not only will this conceal the latex but it also creates diseased patches to the skin
with a stipple sponge take some red makeup from an injury stack and go around some areas of the latex. this creates broken blood around the latex
with a fine brush take some black makeup and draw some veins, or squiggly lines to emphasize disease

Step 8: The Zombie Is Loose

looks like your almost done fellow ghouls
take a sponge and apply blod to the inside of the holes and around the mouth
a zombie isn't a zombie without blood

Step 9: The Zombie Has Arrived

for a final touch
i added black and yellow makeup from the injury and death stack to the teeth
this will create decayed rotten teeth
