Introduction: Jewelry Lasercutting
Jewelry Lasercutting
This jewelry are made with the laser cutter. I made some different forms carved out of the wood. The patterns are made in a Illustrator A4 file.
What you need:
- A4 size wood, 3 mm
- Illustrator
- necklaces
I try to find out how small I could go with engraving and cutte. But even the small little birds and the small droplets in the rings are clearly visible.
One little mistake I’ve made, at the double ring. I make one of the two holes 1 mm bigger. For my hands it’s not enough. The hole for the middle finger should be 2 mm bigger.
At last I painted all the jewellry with blanc lac especially for wood. You wearing it on your hands, so you use them a lot. Otherwise the wood could be soft and damaged.
