Introduction: Literal Food Science

About: I like to to do a lot of DIY stuff, like cooking, and I also like to relax in a pool. My favorite animals are fish, chickens ( My family isn't rich and comes from a line of farmers), cats, dogs, and any other…

When you hear food, what do you think of? I think of potatoes, carrotts, and beef steak.  When you hear science, what do you think of? I think of test tubes, gradulated cylinders, and Albert Einstein. Put the two together and BAM! You've got a gradulated cylinder made of a potato, and a test tube made of a carrott. This is how to make them.

Materials
Carrott
Potato
Peeler
Knife
Paper Towel
Food coloring
Tooth Picks

Step 1: Preparing Your Items

First, you need to peel the carrot and the potato. Now trim them.(Cut out bad spots and cut the ends off of the carrot.) Cut the skinny part off of the carrot and you are ready to begin!

Step 2: Making Your Food Science

Now that your veggies are trimmed, you will need to make a small hole in the carrot with your knife. Do the same with the potato. Using a tooth pick, engrave numbers into the potato. Put something in each-I used jellybeans- and your food science is done!
