Introduction: Lockerz - Info, Description, and INVITES! (Earn Free Items)

 Lockerz is an invite only site where you can earn "ptz" to redeem on many prizes, including very many popular electronics, (laptops, macbooks, TVs, Xbox360/PS3, DSi/PSP go, iPods, digital cameras, video cameras, headphones, and video games) brands, (Piaggio, Burton, Ripstik, Wayfarer, G-shock, different makeup brands, Baggu, Dylan's Candy, etc) and "experiences". (concerts, charities, etc)

Soon Lockerz will be expanded to include online videos, games, and a social network experience.

Note: Lockerz has been experiencing some problems due to traffic. However, most of these problems were supposed to have been resolved the day before I am writing this (11/18/09)

Step 1: Creating and Using an Account

 To use Lockerz, you need to be invited to create an account. Message me with your email enclosed and I will invite. You will receive an email with a link prompting you to make your account. You will then be asked to fill out your account info. Once you have created your account, navigate to http://www.lockerz.com, where you will be able to log in with your email and combination (password). When you first log in you may get the opportunity to "catch ptz" by navigating your mouse. Take avantage of it!


Step 2: Navigating the Site - Home Screen

 The main Lockerz site has five different tabs for different functions of the site. These tabs are found on the top of the screen. The blue tab on the far right takes you to your homepage, where you have quick links to the prizes available on the right, a running list of alerts in the middle, and "your locker" on the right, which shows how many alerts you have, how many ptz you have, how many people you have invited that have created accounts, and the number of people left to achieve Z-LIST status, which I will get to on a later step. Step 3: "Connect" Screen

 This is where you invite people to join Lockerz. You can invite people either by email addresses, Facebook or contacts imported from AOL, Yahoo, Gmail, Outlook, Plaxo, or a contact card upload from your computer. The right side of the screen shows how to get points. On the left there is a banner explaining Z-LIST. To achieve Z-List status, you must have 20 confirmed (an account is set up) invites. If you are a "Z-LISTER", you receive double points, "VIP treatment" and a T-Shirt. In the middle there is two sections, one where the actual inviting takes place, and next to it, a window that shows the status of your invites.

Step 4: The Dailies

 This is one of the main ways of getting ptz. To access the dailies, click the word "Dailies" on the bottom right of the screen next to the ptz indictator. (The bottom bar of the screen shows up on all parts of the site) Here you will see a picture with a question on that, below that a box for you to either choose or type your answer, depending on the question. Each daily you answer gives you two ptz. (If you're a Z-LISTER, 4.) You can only get ptz for answering each question the same day it was posted, hence the name "Dailies". On the right, there is a calendar that shows which days you have answered the dailies, and which days you "missed out".

Step 5: Redeeming - the "PTZ PLACE"

 PTZ Place is where you redeem your earned ptz. PTZ place is accessed via the green tab on the right. When you get to the page, you have three choices, "Electronics", "Cool Brands", and "Experiences". (If you're interested in charities, they're in the Experiences section.) Choose one of these, then find the prize you want.  Then click "Redeem Now", and proceed to to shipping information. If it says "More Soon", they are currently out of stock.
