If your playing a Mage or spellcaster at a LARP. Using coloured powder when making your rituals makes for a lot more interesting ritual circles and patterns on the ground.

* Note that this can not be used for eating or for throwing magic, only on the ground in rituals.

* Ideas for in-game name for the powder:

• Magic dust
• Magic powder
• Bone dust
• Bone powder
• Mana dust

Step 1: Materials

Its very simpel to make, you will ned:

  • Flour
  • Coloured chalk
  • A couple of Bags
  • A hammer or something to smash the chalk with (like a rolling pin)
  • Some containers for the powder afterwards (here glass bottles)

Step 2: Smash Chalk

Put the chalk into the plastic bags, good idea to put it into 2 bags, if the first one breaks.

Then grab your hammer and smash the chalk into powder.

* Alternatively you can smash the chalk into smaller pieces and use and old blender, much better for creating the chalk dust.

Step 3: Mix Flour and Chalk

Now its time for mixing.

Put some of the flour into the container.

Add the coloured chalk and shake it good.

The more flour your add the more powder your make, however don't wash the color to much out.

* Measurement: About 1 fifth chalk pr flour, create a good basic colour.

Now your have your "coloured magic powder".

Time to make some cool magic symbols when making rituals.

Step 4: Make Some Magic Circles

Simply make the patterns and magical circles you want by poring it controlled on the ground.

Time for some grand magical rituals.

To create some extra flair to the patterns your can use more than one colour.

* Note if you run dry its always a good idea to keep regular white flour on you.

* Note that this can not be used for eating or for throwing magic, only on the ground in rituals.
