Money Inside a Brick Gift

This is money inside a brick.

This is a cool idea as a birthday gift

"Why are you giving me a brick?"

Could also be used to hide important things or may be a mystery/hunt type of activity for clues.

Wrap it up or tie a bow round it.

Step 1: Drilling the Hole

Mark roughly in the center of the brick.

Use masonry drill bits to drill the brick, I pre-drilled at 5.5mm and then used a 10mm drill bit.

As you'll see later in the video I should of drilled a deeper hole.

Probably need to drill about 2/3 of the way down.

Step 2: Place the Money in the Hole

Roll up and push it down the hole, may need to use a pen to help push it down but be careful.

Step 3: Fill the Hole

I used poly filler for the hole, and filler will do.

Don't shove to much in else it'll probably end up mixing up with the money.

I used the brick waste from drilling and sprinkled it on top of the filler for a more disguised look.

You could leave it white so it's more of a clue.

Step 4: The Fun Part.
