Music Box Dancers

The concept derives its roots from music boxes with little ballerinas dancing to its tunes. The mechanism uses bevelled gears and planetary gears to let the dancers dance! The female figurine twirls away on the floor as the male dances around her yet without changing his focus from her. Hand cranked. This is a kinetic design, with some assembly required. Enough to excite a child's curiosity, but at the same time being simple with no two ways to assemble it. Assembly Materials envisaged : Translucent PLA, to allow the lighting mechanism in the BOSEBuild CUBE to light up as much as the mechanism possible even in the dark.
