Introduction: Null

The spinner is a Newton disc, a well-known physics experiment with a rotating disc with segments in different colors, appearing as white (or off-white or gray) when spinned fast enough. This type of mix of light stimuli is called temporal optical mixing, a version of additive-averaging mixing. It demonstrates how white light is a compound of three primary colors. Instructions: - 3D Print parts: body, 2x grips, cutting pattern - Place 608 bearing in body center (ceramic bearings spin better and longer) - Put 3 M8 nuts in their gaps as counterweights - Print PDF file at 100% size on adhesive paper - Cut sticker with cut pattern - Stick paper disc on the body - Assemble grips at each side of the bearing - Spin and enjoy! Tip: try printing or drawing different discs and check how they mix together.
