In the previous years one of the main problems that plumbers came by, was that in old houses, buildings and apartments, there was no cut off water switch in the main water supply (or other water supply), or if there were one, from the decay of time, rust would not permit the water to be cut off, so that the necessary plumbing would be done. Thus causing headache to plumbers, or increase the cost of labor and work to be done for the clients.

So, we in TED3D came up with this idea, the Water Supply Choker (AKA WSC). This is an easy way to cut off water from soft plastic pipes, without harming them, making it possible to do all the necessary work and then release the supply again.

Step 1: MATERIALS

The materials used for this project were:

1. M8 screws

2. Metallic solid ingot 13,5 x 13,5 mm

3. Metallic semicircular band 13,5 x 4,5 mm

3. M8 Nuts

4. TPU filament

Step 2: MODELING & PRINTING

Its design is accurate and totally functional for up to 3cm outer diameter plastic (elastic) water pipes. It's size also lets you get to even the smallest spaces, without any tremendous effort, making your work a piece of cake.

Step 3: ASSELMBLY

Step 4: COMPLETE TOOL

The following photos present how it actually works and prove it's functionality and usability:
