About: Hi, I am bObi -the latest addition to the bObsweep family! My fiancé Bob and I, love to clean! We are obsessed with making your floors shiny and dust-free. Enjoy my instructables guides and feel free to come …

Replacing the main board on bObi Pet required only two supplies: a Phillips head screwdriver and a new main board for your model. Follow the guide steps, or the video tutorial, and you're repair will be done in a few minutes.

Be mindful of any screws or parts that are removed from bObi Pet throughout the repair and keep all parts, except the old main board, organized for easier reassembly.

Step 1: Turn BObi Pet Off

Before we get started, turn bObi Pet OFF and flip her over onto a flat surface.

Next, remove bObi Pet's dustbin. Grip the small tab on the back of the bin, and pull to remove.

Step 2: Remove the Front Wheel

Grip the front wheel and pull straight up, using the screwdriver for leverage.

The wheel will pop out and you will see two screws beneath it. There is a larger screw set deeper in the wheel compartment.

Use the screwdriver to remove it. (Highlighted Blue)

Remember to keep all screws and parts removed from bObi Pet safely aside during the repair. They may be needed for re-assembly.

Step 3: Remove the Dustbin Holders

Remove the screws on both sides of bObi Pet’s dustbin. Then, remove the corner pieces that were held down by the screws.

Grip the brush compartment and pull down to reveal two screws on a red fastener. Remove them with the screwdriver.

Step 4: Remove the Main Brush Attachment

Pull the brush compartment up until the fastener is freed from bObi Pet. Then, detach the brush compartment's circuit plug and set it aside.

Remove the four screws located beneath the brush compartment.

Step 5: Remove the Cover Screws

Remove the two screws on the dustbin’s red fastener.

Remove the fastener and set it aside for reassembly.

The cover is no longer secured, so carefully flip bObi Pet onto her wheels.

Step 6: Detach the Cover

Lift the cover to reveal the main board underneath.

Remove the two circuit plugs connecting the lid to the mainboard. (Highlighted Blue)

bObi Pet's cover is entirely separated. Put the lid aside and you can start replacing the edge sensors.

Step 7: Disconnect All Circuit Plugs

To remove the old mainboard, disconnect the seven circuit plugs on its surface.

Disconnect the battery, located on top of the main board, as well.

Step 8: Remove the Main Board

Next, remove the four screws holding the mainboard down. Keep these close by for the next step.

Lift the black rubber flaps off the base of the mainboard.

Lift the old mainboard up. If there is glue securing the wires to bObi Pet’s crevices, you may scrape it off with your screwdriver.

Step 9: Line the New Mainboard Up on BObi Pet

Do not remove the small red screw posts close to the dustbin. (Highlighted Yellow)

Line up the new mainboard with the screw posts inside bObi Pet and gently push the mainboard down so it sits flat. Three screw posts should fit through the holes in the middle.

Replace the rubber flaps along the back of bObi Pet's mainboard, then install the four screws removed previously.

Step 10: Reconnect the Circuit Plugs

Now that the main board is secured, reconnect the battery and all circuit plugs.

There are five at the top, the circuit plug for the power switch on Bobi Pet’s right, and one black circuit plug on Bobi Pet’s left.

Tuck any protruding wires into the crevices around the mainboard so the lid can easily sit on top. Then you may start closing bObi Pet.

Step 11: Connect the Cover

Attach the two circuit plugs from bObi Pet's cover back onto her main board.

The yellow-wired plug connects to the right side of the mainboard. (Highlighted Yellow)

The white-wired plug on bObi Pet’s lid connects to the middle of the mainboard. (Highlighted White)

Step 12: Align the Cover's Edges

Lay down bObi Pet's cover and line up the edges precisely.

While holding bObi Pet's top and bottom together, carefully flip her over onto a flat surface.

Step 13: Replace the Front Wheel

Reinstall the front wheel’s screw.

Then, place the front wheel on top and firmly push down to secure it.

Step 14: Secure the Cover

Replace the dustbin’s red fastener and install its two screws.

Install the four larger screws in the space beneath the brush compartment.

Step 15: Replace the Main Brushes

Plug in the brush compartment.

Then, replace its red brush fastener and install the two screws.

Step 16: Replace the Dustbin Holders

Position the brush compartment back in its original place on bObi Pet.

Now reinsert the corner pieces on both sides of the dustbin, with the arms of the brush attachment linked.

Step 17: Replace the Dustbin

Ensure the rubber strip near bObi Pet's dustbin is not stuck underneath the brush compartment. Then, reinstall the two screws in each of the corner pieces.

Make sure the bin can slide in easily before using bObi Pet again and you're finished replacing bObi Pet's main board. Congratulations and happy cleaning!
