Introduction: Sunglasses Stand

Leaving sunglasses laying around is boring and they are more likely to get lost so i made a simple stand out of some scrap pieces of wood

Step 1:

The scrap pieces of wood i started off with had a width of 65mm and a height of 15mm, i used it to create 2 pieces of wood with a length of 100mm each which would form my stand and its base.
Once designed, i marked out each piece of wood and used a jigsaw to cut each each piece out, once cut, sandpaper can be used to smooth the corners.

To mount the 2 pieces together i first found 2 central points of where to drill pilot holes, then countersunk them and finally put 2 screws between the pieces. Alternatively, wood glue could have been used.
