This is a 1:1 replica of kirito's photon sword from sao 2. It is made of pvc and 3d printed pieces.

Step 1: Initial Design and Modelling

I took the some screenshots from the show and i scaled the images so the hilt was around 10" long , i then based all my measurements on that. I modelled the pieces so they could slide onto a 1" diameter pvc pipe , i then had the pieces 3d printed.

Step 2: Finishing

I painted the decor pieces that slide on the pvc pipe with silver rub n buff and painted the pvc pipe black i slid on the pieces and super glued them in place , i then attached the two end caps in place but not before i attached the metal carabiner to the back end cap.
