Introduction: The Anne Marie

I'm going to be documenting this project extensively both here and on her own website, http://annemarie.co.  I know this is a subject a lot of people are interested in, feel free to email me with any questions you may have - I'm happy to answer.  john at annemarie dot co works.

I've logged over 10,000 miles in this bus since I bought it, most of which was on vegetable oil.  I'm just beginning the transition from Road-Trip-Machine to 4-season-liveaboard.  I live in New England, and I need to design my bus for the winters, and summers up here.  Skimping can mean I'll either be far too hot or far too cold, and careful design is called for.

I bought, converted to run on vegetable oil, and refinished the interior for under $5000, and I need a significantly larger budget to renovate my bus into a proper home.  I've been saving for quite a while now, and I'm getting close to where I want to be, but this is by begging, borrowing and dealing for the equipment and materials I need.
