how to change a laptop monitor screen into TV?

i have a "IBM Think-pad, i-Seriese 1445" Laptop monitor screen..... i want to change it into TV, please guied me how i can convert it into TV

Not practical.  If the laptop works, sell it.  Put the money toward an LCD or CRT monitor.  Buy a tuner box on eBay; search on lcd monitor tv tuner.  They work with VGA or DVI monitors depending on the model, usually have pass-through so you can still use it with a computer, and usually have inputs for VCR or DVD video.

If all you have is the screen,you're out of luck. You would have to build or buy a special LCD controller, which usually runs ~$300. It would be cheaper to buy a TV.
