Fixit Clinic

For those of you in the Bay Area, next Tuesday there will be a Fixit Clinic at UC Berkeley. The organizers are inviting people of all ages to bring in broken electronics and appliances so that they can work together and learn how to fix them (or, if not possible, at least how they work). This is going to be an awesome event because the only thing better than computer reuse is computer repair. I plan on being there with my iPod and its broken scroll wheel. I look forward to finding out if this is something that can be easily repaired or if it's time to invest in a new mp3 player. This will also be a great opportunity to meet all of the local people interested in exploring computer repair and reuse.
