Introduction: Adwoah's Shortbread Cookies #hercules2016

Shortbread is a beloved treat, enjoyed by many creatures around the world. This is how to make shortbread Adwoah style.

Step 1: Ingredients/ Tools

1 cup soft butter

2 1/2 cups flour

1/2 sugar

cutting broad

oven

knife

roller

bowl

measuring cup

hands

cooking tray

Step 2: Step 1: Mix

pour 2 1/2 cups of flour into the bowl. Then add 1/2 a cup of sugar. After add the 1 cup of soft butter (leave butter at for at least an 1/2 hour to make soft). With your hands (make sure to wash your hands, because if you don't that is nasty) mix up the flour, butter, and sugar, until it starts to look like clay.

Step 3: Step 2: Cut Shapes

Now place the mix on the cutting broad. With the roller make the mix flat. Use a knife (be careful, young kids ask parents for help) to cut out the mix dough in any shape, get creative. With the left over dough, crumble them together, then roll it out again. Then use the knife to make more shapes. Repeat until you have no more dough left over. Then after if you want add sprinklers, chocolate chips, powdered sugar, etc. Place the cut cookie dough on the cooking tray.

Step 4: Step 3: Manger (Eat)

After, place the cooking tray in the oven. Set the temperature for 450 degrees fahrenheit and the timer for 10 minutes. After the 10 minutes, take the cookies out, wait for them to cool at least 5 minutes. Then Manger.
