My first Intructable (http://www.instructables.com/id/Building-a-drawer-slide-CNC-machine-for-under-200/) was building my Drawer Slide CNC Machine. And Ironically, the first part I cut on it was this, my second Instructable!

It all started when I was designing a few parts on my Apple Mac Mini. It seemed to be getting a little too warm with all of the drawing I was doing. So this design was born.

All that I used was a 5" PC fan and I cut the cooling unit out of foam board (it's very forgiving!)

I was having a hard time coming up with an efficient design. As you can see, I had many ideas, most of them failed. They also didn't look very good, as I was trying to come up with a design that looked like it was made for it.
