Introduction: Coffee Spa Day!

Coffee not only tastes great but is also great for your body.

Step 1: Cellulite Remover

The expensive cellulite creams have one ingredient in common and that is caffeine. Cellulite is misshapen fat stored in our bodies under the skin. When coffee is applied to the skin it help reduce the number of fat cells under the skin and increase the blood flow to the skin to help flush away the toxins.

Ingredients:

¼ cup water

3 tablespoons unused coffee grounds

1 tablespoon olive oil (also great for skin and hair)

Plastic wrap

Mix water, coffee grounds, and olive oil together and microwave for a minute and a half or until warm but not hot enough to burn your skin. In your bathtub or some other place you don’t mind getting a little messy apply your mixture in a circular motion to your problem areas. Wrap area firmly with plastic wrap and leave on your skin for 20 minutes. Unwrap and rinse off then towel dry. Repeat twice a week for best results.

Step 2: Sweet Coffee Body Scrub

Ingredients:

2 tablespoons coffee (exfoliates)

2 tablespoons olive oil (softens and moisturizes)

2 tablespoons salt (exfoliates)

1 tablespoon sugar (exfoliates)

1 tablespoon brown sugar (exfoliates)

½ tablespoon ginger (reduces free radicals, evens skin tones and kills bacteria that cause acne)

Add all of your ingredients together and mix them well. Use along with your body wash in your daily shower routine. If you are using the scrub on your face replace the salt with honey because salt is too harsh for the sensitive skin on a face and honey is a great moisturizer.

Step 3: Hair Smoother

Coffee softens and adds shine to hair. Coffee also brings out highlight in brown hair.

Ingredients:

2 tablespoons coffee

2 tablespoons your regular shampoo

¼ teaspoon baking soda (removes buildup from styling products)

Mix coffee, shampoo, and baking soda together in a bowl. Apply to wet hair leave on for 2 minutes before rinsing. Follow with conditioner.
