Introduction: How to Bring Treats to Trick-o-Treaters
This Halloween mobile treat prop is simple and easy to do. Since, I am a Halloween freak, I have props galore but for this project, I only used very cheap and simple props.
Step 1: You Will Need a Wagon (Radio Flyer)
I had this wagon stored in a corner of my house collecting rust. I dust it off and put it to work.
Step 2: Carve a Pumpkin
I carved a pumpkin to decorate the outside of my house but decided to use it for the mobile prop after all.
Step 3: Candy Bowl
A bowl from my wife's kitchen did the job. Along with a monster prop I had. I taped the monster to the bowl and poured the candies in.
Step 4: Head on a Stick Prop
Ok, this prop I bought on a after-Halloween sale. Aside from the cardboard arrow, I didn't do anything to it because it was as it's seen on the picture. If I haven't had this prop, I could had use a head prop easily found at any Halloween store and tape it to a broom stick. The stick end of the prop was taped to the wagon. I made and arrow out of cardboard that pointed to the candies and on the arrow I taped big fonts that read: "CANDY" that I made in Microsoft Word.
Step 5: Put All the Pieces Together and Pull Away!
Once the head prop is taped on the wagon, the Jack-o-Lantern is in, the bowl with the monster taped to it is in, and the candy is poured in to the bowl; grab on to the wagon handle and pull away to your nearest well lit neighborhood full of Trick-o-Treaters. Just watch how your candies go flying away to happy witches, ghouls, and ghosts.
