Introduction: How to Enter the Get the LED Out! Contest

LEDs are some of the best things ever. They provide colorful light, barely use any power, and are easy to learn how to use. We love them and would love to see what cool projects you can make using them. So we teamed up with the mad LED scientists atMonkeylectric to bring you a new contest: Get the LED Out!

The rules are simple. To enter, the Instructable must involve LEDs. That's it. It can be a part of a much bigger project or it can be focused on a cool use of LEDs. Just be sure to document it well with clear photos and text and show us what you can do!

The grand prize winner will receive a set of four Monkey Lights from Monkeylectric. With those installed, any bike will instantly become a beautiful light show at night! Six first prize winners will win one Monkey Light which provides a lot of light to ride safer in style.

Don't ride a bike? Winners can choose either a Monkey Light or 7 feet of waterproof full color LED light strip. The LED strips run on 12V and do not include any power supply or wiring. Can be seen inthis instructable.

So what are you waiting for? Make something with some LEDs! Shine a light and get to it!
