Introduction: How to Make Polish Kolache Cookies

This easy 4-ingredient recipe is recommended for young adults, mature adults, kids with adult supervision, and adults who are cooking together for the first time.

Step 1: Ingredients:

2.5 cups of flours

half stick of butter/margarine

2 packages of cream cheese

2 cups of plain yogurt (not pictured)

Jam/Fruit preserve

Icing sugar (optional, as topping)

Step 2:

Add cream cheese, butter/margarine, and yogurt to bowl.

Mix well until content airy and soft.

Step 3:

Add flour and mix (by hand).

Refrigerate dough for 2 hours+.

Cut dough in half and roll it out on floured surface. Cut into desires shape.

Place on baking tray. Spray tray with baking oil.

Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes.

Step 5:

Lesson learned: Add jam after cookies are baked and cooled. Add icing sugar if desired.

Note: Remaining dough can freeze (after sealed in airtight ziplock bag) for up to two months.
