Well it is EXTREMELY difficult to teach someone how to program in thirty seconds, no matter how simple the language. And i do realize how ... bad, this tutorial was. I was like 11 when I made it, so that was about all i knew about programming. So PLEASE keep the comments positive!

game maker is not the program you should use if you plan to make games professionally, if you plan on making small games(nothing serious) just use flash. game maker will get you into bad habits

Sorry, thumbs down. I took a 2 week class this past summer; 8 hours a day (80 hours total and the instructor move FAST!) on Game Maker and I feel barely competent to make a game. Don't lose hope, please try again!
