Introduction: K'NEX Dragunov SVD (Update)

About: K'NEX gun builder here at Instructables. More or less retired from the community, but I still pop in now and again.
Created in 1963 by the USSR, the Dragunov SVD (Snayperskaya Vintovka Dragunova), or simply the SVD, was a very rugged and accurate DMR (Designated Marksman Rifle). While my K'NEX replica does not match up (even in K'NEX standards) to the legend of the SVD, it is not, altogether a bad replica. It is semi-sturdy, looks correct, has a nice scope, and gets (generally) good range. It was rather hard to get it to look correct, but my hard work payed off.

Features:
  • Looks correct
  • Scope attaches from the side of the gun
  • 8 - 10 round magazine
  • True trigger operated
  • Good pin-pull
  • Good range: up to 50 ft.
  • Accurate up to 40 ft.
  • Comfortable
  • Sturdy
  • Reliable
  • Has magazine release lever
  • Is (almost) 48 in. long

Instructions will be ready soon.

Enjoy!
