Introduction: K'NEX M249 SAW

About: K'NEX gun builder here at Instructables. More or less retired from the community, but I still pop in now and again.
To my knowledge, the M249 SAW (Squad Automatic Weapon) has only had 4 K'NEX attempts (one of the better versions being ironman69's M249 RBG). Seeing as this is the case, I decided to pioneer with this gun in hopes of building a nice looking M249 (which is actually a slightly modified FN Minimi). My hopes were, in the end, realized, and this beast (at least it is a beast in size) came to "life."

Features:
  • Huge pin-pull (not seen in pics, see forum topic here)
  • Great range: 60 - 70 ft.
  • Magazine lock (pics 7 - 9)
  • Accurate looks
  • Comfortable pistol and fore grip
  • Nice stock (probably my favorite part of the gun)
  • Good and accurate looking sights
  • Very open to HEAVY mods
